This Privacy Policy explains how IdataStudio (“the application”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) accesses, uses, stores and deletes information, including information obtained through Google and YouTube API Services. IdataStudio is a private tool operated by Patricia Maria Gajon Padilla, an individual based in Gothenburg, Sweden, who is the data controller for the purposes of this policy. You can contact us at gajon.padilla@gmail.com.
IdataStudio is a private, self-hosted automation tool for personal use. It is used by a single operator to publish her own original video content to her own YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API. It is not a public service and does not process data on behalf of unrelated third parties. The tool accesses the Google/YouTube account only after its owner signs in and grants permission, and it acts only on that single connected channel.
When the channel owner signs in with Google and authorises the tool, IdataStudio accesses the following, strictly to publish to her own connected channel:
We request the minimum scopes required to operate: uploading videos and managing captions. We do not access Google contacts, Gmail, search history, watch history, location, or any data unrelated to publishing on the connected channel.
The application requests only the following OAuth scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload — to upload video files to the connected channel.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl — to set video metadata (title, description, tags, visibility) and to upload and manage caption (subtitle) files. We do not use this information for any other purpose.
IdataStudio uses YouTube API Services. By using the application you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Information handled through Google APIs is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Authorisation tokens are stored on a private server operated for the application and are used only to communicate with the YouTube API. The server is hosted in a data centre located in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union). All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and access to stored credentials is restricted to the operator. We do not retain video files longer than needed to publish them.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not share data obtained through Google or YouTube APIs with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising, profiling, credit assessment, or to train machine-learning or artificial-intelligence models.
The data controller operates in the European Union (Sweden). You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. The legal basis for processing is your consent, given when you connect your YouTube account; you may withdraw that consent at any time, including by revoking access as described in section 6. To exercise any of these rights, contact gajon.padilla@gmail.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish supervisory authority, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY — imy.se).
