IdatAstudio

Private automation tool

Automated publishing for a personal documentary channel

IdataStudio is a private, self-hosted tool used by a single operator to prepare and publish her own original documentary videos to her own YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API. It is operated privately, for personal use — it is not a public service and does not act on behalf of other people. It connects to the channel only after its owner signs in and grants permission, and it acts only on that channel.

What this tool does

Uploads her own videos. It uploads finished documentary videos to the operator's own YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API.

Manages video details and subtitles. It sets each video's title, description, tags and visibility, and uploads her own subtitle files.

Runs on a private server. The tool runs on a private server hosted in the European Union. A single account connects to it, and it only acts on the operator's own channel.

Connecting the YouTube account

To publish, the channel owner signs in with Google and grants the tool permission to upload videos and manage captions on her own channel. The tool requests only those permissions, accesses no data unrelated to publishing, and access can be revoked at any time from the Google account permissions page.
